ESH Coordinator (Environmental, Safety and Health at the factory)

Our client is an international company, one of the world's leaders in agriculture, announces a competition for the vacant position of «ESH Coordinator».

 

Main Purpose of the Job: Continuous Improvement of the ESH (Environmental, Safety and Health) performance at the site, reducing/eliminating recordable incidents, avoiding avoid fines and reputational issues due to non compliance with legal requirements, enhancing the Safety culture.

 

Responsibilities:

- Follow up on Company ESH requirements as well as logal legal requirements in ESH matters.

- Implement procedures, guidelines, trainings and other supporting materials that will ensure compliance with both company & legal requirements.

- Organizing and coordinating ESH activities, meetings, trainings etc at the site to ensure support for and understanding of ESH programs & procedures.

- Perform internal audits, document results and follow-up on action plans.

- Stimulate reporting of safety observations, near misses and first aids. Conduct incident investigations in a qualitative manner. Share relevant incidents with all relevant stakeholders.

- Network with the other sites in the region to seek for the best practices available.

- Participate in regional networks and contribute to regional or sub-regional projects.

- Be a solution provider and be able to recognize gaps in early stage to take the proper preventive action.

- Coordinate and improve the hazard recognition and observations/coaching process at the site.

 

Requirements:

- Education: minimum a Bachelor degree for Environmental, Safety/Health. Desirable Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Agronomy, Electrical, other).

- 3-5 years of experience as EHS Coordinator or Supervisor. Multi-site/country experience desirable.

- Certified Management Systems knowledge (ISO/OHSAS) is desirable.

- English — Advanced/ Upper Intermediate level (spoken and written).

- Excellent communication skills, leadership and influencing skills, tactical thinking – agility, results orientation.

Chief Accountant

Our client is an international company that works in the production and import of fooder, announces a competition for the vacant position of «Chief Accountant» in Kyiv.

 

Main responsibilities:

- Orchestrate month-end accounting activities.

- Manages the accounts payable.

- Identifies and flags significant operational / financial costs and tax fluctuations, and determines reasons for variances.

- Advises management about possible improvements in the business.

- Monitors the debtors and monitors / determines the liquidity planning.

- Ensures appropriate tax accounting and reporting, externally and Tax Control Framework.

- Manages the accounting department.

- Drafts working instructions for the staff in accordance with local legislation, statutory and tax requirements.

- Participates in reporting and accounting matters of major projects, within corporate guidelines.

- Prepares audits, ensures all relevant financial information is available for internal and external Auditors.

 

Requirements:

- University degree.

- 5 + years of experience of chief accountant / deputy chief accountant in international company.

- English — Intermediate level.

- ERP systems knowledge.

- Good analytical skills and attention to details.

 

Terms of work :

Junior Accountant

Our client, international company, is searching for candidates for a position of «Junior Accountant».

Responsibilities:

- Complete all financial tasks required for the financial month-end/ year-end pre-closing steps.

- Assist Financial Controller and Senior Accountant with provision of information to internal / external auditors, with preparation of corporate statutory returns (including FCCF).

- Travel & Expenses audits as per policy, Vendor reconciliation and Invoice receipts audit which is based on the quarterly basis.

- Invoice receipts procession in SAP and submission to GSD of all down payment requests including overseas invoices.

- VAT Accounting: Checking and registering tax invoices. Ongoing work with the electronic VAT administration system.

- Customer’s and Supplier’s Accounting. Check and support of acts of services rendered (works performed) / invoices.

- Other duties as per job description.
